Ward 6 is located in West Somerville and stretches from the Cambridge line to the Medford line. It begins just West of Davis Square, contains part of the Tufts campus, includes Powderhouse and Ball Squares, and ends on the Northwest corner of Porter Square in Somerville. Ward 6 is one of the most vibrant and diverse communities in Somerville. There is a mix of families here who have made Somerville their home for generations and families new to the area looking to invest in the community and grow roots here. Ward 6 has a strong history of political activism and progressive politics.
